They're not on the wrong way round that's just the way manitou forks are designed! (And Pace forks I believe). Cheers.

I did indeed. It wasn't too much of a problem actually as you only need to take 1 mm off the top and bottom on each side. It also made the back end much stronger and stiffer and meant I didn't have to run a chain tensioner. Definitely worth doing!

Nope it's a 135x12mm bolt on.
